Mr. Abdulaziz Behery joins Bank of America as Head of Saudi Arabia Investment Banking

Bank of America has hired Abdulaziz Behery from HSBC to run its Saudi Arabian Investment Banking business, to be based in Riyadh

Abdulaziz has over 15 years of banking experience and was most recently a Director at HSBC Saudi Arabia within their Investment Banking department. During his time on the largest international advisory team in Riyadh, he led a number of landmark transactions in the Kingdom, including the recent IPOs of Marafiq and Arabian Drilling Co. Prior to joining HSBC, Abdulaziz’s most recent position was Head of Equity Capital Markets at SNB Capital. He originally joined the NCB Capital team, notably advising on the Aramco local listing in 2019, before they went onto merge with Samba Capital to create the largest Saudi investment banking platform

He previously worked at GIB Capital as a Vice President in their Investment Banking department, having started his career with Samba Capital back in 2008, spending six years as part of the platform’s advisory business

Abdulaziz holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the American University in Washington D.C
