Director, Head of Financial Institutions & Sovereign Wealth Fund Coverage, Saudi Arabia, Global Financial Services Institution, Riyadh

A Global Financial Institution is looking to add a Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Sovereign Wealth Fund coverage to their team in Riyadh. The select individual will implement the financial institutions and sovereign's strategy in Saudi Arabia, through growth of client revenues, client interactions at different levels, management of client relationships, origination and development of the clients products and services, support in negotiating and executing transactions, and work in close coordination with business lines internally across the organisation.

Managing closely all risks aspects

Supporting the Business Lines on Credit and Risk related issues by being perfectly capable to handle and articulate complex risk

Return assessments of both the overall client profile and of every specific deal

Developing transversal businesses and cross-selling activities across the institution

Coordinating action around main Global Financial Institutions and Sovereign Wealth Fund clients with business line colleagues, with a Global Markets and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) focus

Enhancing the clients institutional profile by organizing/participating in strategic events

Maintaining a senior level of dialogue within targeted clients, in a team work effort along with relevant Senior Bankers who are more closely focusing on Investment Banking

15+ years of banking experience with strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market, and as a plus the wider GCC region.

Extensive banking/treasury and financial institutions experience and knowledge of credit/investments, managing and limiting risks, raising capital to support the firms' expansion and handling M&A.

Specific knowledge/experience in islamic finance will be a plus

Should have extensive experience in marketing, relationship management and client management in Saudi Arabia
