Principal, Developed Markets Public Equity Fund Allocation, Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund, Abu Dhabi

Our client is looking to add a Principal with at least 9 years of manager selection experience in the Developed Markets Equity active manager universe

Reporting directly to the Head of Developed Markets, the successful candidate will be required to research, monitor and source active investment strategies (e.g. long only, active extension, etc.) for various Developed Markets Equity portfolios including primary coverage of Developed Markets Equities, contribute to the broader research effort of the department, and make investment recommendations to the Head of Developed Markets, Chief Investment Officer, and divisional Executive Directors

Candidates must have deep knowledge of the nuances of the Developed Markets public equity markets, and have excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities in order to create and use sophisticated quantitative models

Furthermore, candidates should arrive with track records of working alongside key external personnel, including fund managers, investment teams, brokers, custodians, fund administrators, investment bankers, consultants, market research firms and data providers
